This year reports will be sent home to families on June 22nd. We are offering Parent/Teacher Interviews the following Monday and Tuesday afternoons and evenings. We are going to trial an online booking process for interviews this year. We have used this system for Confirmation and Reconciliation church booking times and have found it to be very satisfactory. I will be interested to have your feedback in regard to this system. Information about login etc will be sent home separately soon.
After your feedback last year about our mid year reporting practice we have made modifications to the Reports which I hope you will find more useful and informative. The interview is an integral part of the reporting package, so I encourage you to make sure you take the time to attend. The reports will have succinct bullet points which will inform you of what your child has achieved, areas for improvement and future learning and what you can do at home to support your child. The children in Years 1-6 will also receive a dot point which indicates if the child is above, at or below standard in each area. The usual information about work habits and behaviour will also appear. As I have already stated, the reports are best read in conjunction with the Parent/Teacher Interview and any work samples the teacher might find helpful to address any concerns or achievements. |
The 2013 enrolment process has started. We held the Parish component this past week and next Thursday we will be holding our Open Day and evening for new families. The tours and Information sessions will be held next Thursday at 2pm and 7pm.
Enrolment Applications close on Friday 8th June, 2012

A reminder that there will be no school for students on June 1st as staff are working on the maths curriculum with Colleen Monaghan. School will finish for the term on June 28th. Parent Teacher Interviews are on June 25th and 26th.
